Mariano Gonzalez (President) holds a law degree from Universidad de Belgrano (1993) and an LLM Degree from Columbia University Law School (1996). Founding partner of Gonzalez & Ferraro Mila in 2005, he has also worked as a partner at Estudio Beccar Varela (1998-2005), Senior Associate at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal (1997-1998), Foreign Associate at Linklaters in New York (1996-1997), Foreign Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York (1994-1995) and as in-house lawyer at the Argentine SEC (CNV 1993-1994).


Jonathan Gerszberg (Vice President) 
is an independent advisor to several private equity funds, hedge funds and family offices. Before that, he was a Junior Partner with Mckinsey & Company in the Buenos Aires office and previously in the NY office where he served private equity and hedge funds in their investment process (i.e., origination/industry scan, due diligence, deal negotiation, portfolio oversight and support).  He also has a broad experience in consumer goods and retail as industries with expertise in strategy, corporate/business development, go-to-market and channel strategy,  corporate finance and deal estructuring.  Jonathan has an MBA from Columbia business school class of 2008 and an BS , computer science engineering degree from UTN.


Mariano Pino (Secretary) graduated as Lawyer at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1981. He finished his MBA at Columbia University in 1985.  He is one of the partners of ITSA Logistica Inteligente, that provides high quality logistics services to multinational companies in South America.  He is a Columbia Business School Ambassador working closely with Admissions Office. 

 

Emilio Minvielle (Treasurer) is counsel based in the Buenos Aires office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.  Mr. Minvielle’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions in Latin America. From 2006 to 2011, he was a resident in the New York office of Cleary. He received the degree of Abogado, Diploma de Honor, from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2003. While at law school, he was an exchange student at the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) on a scholarship granted by the University of Buenos Aires. In 2008, Mr. Minvielle received an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.   Mr. Minvielle is a member of the Bars in Buenos Aires and New York.

 

Eduardo Franck (Vocal) holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a C.P.A. Degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He also holds an MBA from Columbia University.  After graduation he worked for General Electric in Argentina and  Booz Allen & Hamilton in France.  In 1983 he joined the Techint Group in Argentina, having had different responsibilities in Houston, New York and Buenos Aires. He was appointed Corporate Director of Human Resources in 2005.  He is also Chairman of Fundación Cimientos an ONG that focuses on education and is present in Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia.  

 

Pilar Etcheverry Boneo (Vocal) joined Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in 2003 and she currently is a senior associate in the corporate and M&A department. She graduated from the Law School of Austral University in 2004 (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and obtained a Master in Laws from Columbia University in 2008 (New York, United States).

 

Daniel Hirsch (Vocal) is a CPA from Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires and has an MBA (Class of ´84) from Columbia University - New York. Daniel is a Partner of SMS – San Martín, Suarez y Asociados - Corporate Finance Department. From 1988 to 2013 he was a Partner of MRA-Acertar (former Morales, Rúas & Assoc.), that provided accounting services, management consulting, tax advisory, restructuring and company reorganization, outsourcing, valuations and M&A transactions. He is also Director of Francorp Argentina, an international franchising consulting firm.  Former Managing Partner at Comafi – Morales Rúas (Mergers & Acquisitions), former General Manager of Locatel (a French subsidiary in Juncal Group) and former Assistant General Manager at Valle de las Leñas Ski Resort (Province of Mendoza).

 

Alejandro Verger (Alternate Vocal) studied Industrial Engineer at Universidad de Buenos Aires and MBA at Columbia University in 2010. 13 years of experience in management consulting, steel industry, airlines, FMCGs in several functional roles: Strategic Planning, Controlling, Supply Chain, Innovation, Sales and Marketing; proven success in switching roles and industries through demonstrated creativity, analytical and communication skills. Worked at Tenaris – Techint, LAN Airlines, Booz & Co and Ab Inbev.

 

Soledad Guilera (Alternate Vocal) has a Master of International Affairs specializing in Urban and Social Policy and Management from Columbia University, New York. Strategy and operations consultant for state and local governments with experience in Argentina and in the United States. Currently acting as Argentina 2030 Strategy Advisor at the Office of the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers, Presidency of Argentina. Associate Professor at Universidad de San Andres and Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires on Smart Cities and Urban Policy Innovation.
